Rosie Duckworth is a key part of the Uncle Funk live experience, helping bring the energy, musicianship and personality that define the show.
A Masters graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, Rosie's performance highlights include playing for legendary The Who to 20,000 people on the finale of their World Tour at Sandringham Estate. Performing to thousands in arenas and theatre across Europe, the UK and Ireland with The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight. Rosie has also performed on BBC's Strictly: It Takes Two for singer Rumer, as well as for the relaunch of TV channel BBC 3.
Her theatre credits include West End shows Wicked, Heathers and Little Shop of Horrors, as well as the official UK and Ireland tour of the Stock Aitken Waterman musical I Should Be So Lucky, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. In addition, Rosie has also enjoyed an 8 year residency as trumpeter for the Theatre Royal Plymouth's annual 5 week panto, working alongside celebrities such as Shane Richie, Brendan Cole, Lesley Joseph, and Judge Robert Rinder.
Rosie has been a proud member of Uncle Funk's Disco Inferno since 2021, and can often be spotted in perfect sync, dancing with fellow horn player and 'work wife' Fiona!
Rosie's favourite of the show has to be watching the faces of the audience who take part in Oops Upside Your Head as Uncle Funk gets up close and personal, as well as anytime the horns get to bust out a killer line!
