Bobby Harrison is a key part of the Uncle Funk live experience, helping bring the energy, musicianship and personality that define the show.
Bobby Harrison has a wealth of live experience, having toured the USA, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe extensively as lead guitarist for Sir Cliff Richard, Brit Floyd, The Australian Pink Floyd Show and The Classic Rock Show. His theatre work includes playing on the hit Queen musical We Will Rock You in London's West End, Zurich, Stuttgart and Vienna, as well as an extensive tour of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show.
Bobby has also performed alongside Sir Brian May, Dame Olivia Newton-John, Hank Marvin, Bonnie Tyler, Andrea Corr and Bruce Welch & Brian Bennett of The Shadows.
Bobby's studio work includes sessions for the late composer Michael Kamen, Westlife, The Lighthouse Family, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and BA Robertson.
Experienced in most styles of contemporary music, Bobby has a particular passion for the Blues and frequently tours and records with UK blues/rock harmonica sensation, Will Wilde, with whom he has performed as the opening act for Eric Clapton.
In addition to his live and studio work, Bobby is also an experienced guitar tutor, teaching both remotely and in person, as well as lecturing at ICMP in London and running his online guitar course, Absolute Blues Guitar.
Bobby's favourite on stage moment with Uncle Funk will always be the sense of imminent danger one experiences whenever the band uses pyrotechnics.
