Bringing the low-end groove to Uncle Funk is Mike Brooks, but known to you as Brooksy Collins! With over 4,500 shows in the locker and having performed around the world, there's no dance floor that can escape Brooksy's booty-shaking groove!
Mike has performed with many bands over the years, and most notably with the likes of Bonnie Tyler, Toyah Willcox and such rock legends as Don Airey (Deep Purple, Whitesnake) and Jamie Moses (Queen + Paul Rodgers, Brian May, Mike & The Mechanics). Mike has also has a journalistic sideline, having written for Bass Guitar Magazine, Bass Player magazine and the new The Bassist title from the UK.
